Our client, one of the pioneer and leader of end – to – end IT and digital solutions in Mauritius, is looking for an Assistant Software Manager to join its team of dedicated professionals.
The Assistant Software Manager will have to develop cutting-edge software solutions for their customers.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Lead teams in business analysis, design, development, implementation, optimization, maintenance, and troubleshooting of software programs and applications
- Conduct meetings/presentations with customers
- Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget while adhering to software development methodologies and best practices, and meeting quality standards and business objectives
- Proposal writing
Competencies & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in software engineering, computer science, information systems, information technology, or similar.
- Strong technical background and expertise in software development, combined with effective leadership skills
- In-depth knowledge of programming languages such as Python and JavaScript.
- Ability to keep up with software industry trends and innovation.
- Good organizational skills and abilities
- A minimum of 10 years’ experience within a similar role
- Ability to mentor software developers, as well as to collaborate with all stakeholders.
- Strong project management skills
- Experience in liaising with customers and conduct presentations/meetings
- Excellent verbal and communication skill
