Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Verify, allocate, post and reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
- Produce error-free accounting reports and present their results.
- Analyze financial information and summarize financial status.
- Provide technical support and advice on Management Accounting.
- Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures.
- Participate in financial standards setting and in forecast process.
- Provide input into department’s goal setting process.
- Prepare financial statements, produce budget as per schedule.
- Assist with tax audits and tax returns.
- Direct internal and external audits to ensure compliance.
- Support month-end and year-end close process.
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls in the company’s matters.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS.
- Liaise with the Head of Finance to improve financial procedures.
Requirements:
- Proven 2 Years’ of Offshore Experience.
- Relevant certification (Partly Qualified ACCA, ACA) will be preferred.
- Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures and awareness of business trends.
- In-depth understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
- Familiarity with financial accounting statements.
- Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process.
- Hands-on experience with accounting software packages.
- Advanced MS Excel skills (V-lookups and pivot tables).
- Experience with Regulators and Auditors, Team Management: The ideal candidate should possess the ability to effectively liaise with regulators and auditors, as well as demonstrate proficiency in team management.
