Job Description
Our client is an international provider in IT consulting and System Integration services based in Mauritius comprising of highly skilled, dynamic, and young professionals working in our different offices in Mauritius. To strengthen their digital presence in our current and new competitive markets, the company is looking for a competitive Marketing Executive Business Developer representative to develop sales strategies, attract new clients and secure deals to generate revenue.
Missions
- Develop marketing strategies to promote the company’s products and services to meet organizational objectives.
- Identify new sales opportunities, generate leads, qualify prospects and close deals to achieve or exceed agreed sales and revenue targets, thereby contributing substantially to the increase in profit.
Responsibilities
The Marketing Executive Business Developer will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Undertaking Business Development activities for the company on the local and regional grounds.
- Assisting the company’s business Partners in any duties for the respective business units.
- Able to explain the products and services, how they work and why it is beneficial to the customers.
- Identifying potential customers on the market and making first contact to set up a meeting for presentations of services and products.
- Actively soliciting orders from existing and potential customers.
- Maintaining a professional relationship with customers to identify their current and future requirements and needs.
- Observing the market demand and the existing competition.
- Assisting in creating the strategic planning of a marketing plan on a short-term and/or long-term basis.
- Establishing lasting relationships with prospective clients.
- Report promptly to the top management team of any product and/or service complaints and to assist as required in the review of such complaints and discuss remedial actions.
- Tracking growth in revenue of all business service lines.
- Researching, planning and implementing new target market initiatives.
- Create and manage Clients accounts plans for existing and targeted clients.
- Ensuring the company’s growth objectives are attained, articulating new business development opportunities and identifying, negotiating and managing relationships with technical partners in line with corporate goals.
- Identifying new opportunities, seeking partnerships, and designing strategies to penetrate new markets, while promoting customer satisfaction and improving operational efficiency.
Qualifications / Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (desirable).
- Outgoing personality with a persuasive character with drive and determination.
- Excellent communication, organizational and negotiation skills with writing skills in both English and French including good analytical and interpersonal skills.
- 4-5 years of proven experience in a similar position and in the banking, financial, hospitality, telecommunication industries and government sector would be an advantage.
- Track record of over-achieving targets and results focused.
- Familiarity with different sales techniques and pipeline management.
- Computer systems use competency.
- Self-motivated and driven, prepared to take on challenges.
- Good common sense, autodidact.
