Job Description
Our client is looking to recruit a dynamic and motivated Planning Officer.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Planning Specialist in the daily planning of delivery of concrete
- Ensure that plants are equipped for deliveries as per planning
- Ensure on time deliveries
- Provide feedback to internal and external customers relating to deliveries
- Address and resolve issues related to production and delivery
- Preparation of daily production report and ensuring cost effectiveness of trips
- Daily preparation of Planning KPIs
- Daily preparation of trucks and pumps productivity and efficiency report
- Tabulation of transport cost on a daily basis
- Ensure checklists Salesmen and Plants are received on time
- Create routes for all castings
Candidate profile
- At least Higher School Certificate
- Certificate in Logistics and Supply Chain from a recognized institution will be a definite advantage
- Proven experience in a similar position in the construction sector
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Time and priority management
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Result focused
- Flexible and ability to work odd hours
- Proficiency in MS Office
